Parva Colombian Bakery & Restaurant, a pan-Latin American eatery (contrary to the name’s implied mononationality) is soon coming to Deland. The restaurant will be located at 1330 N Woodland Blvd, near Sonny’s BBQ and McDonalds.

“We’ll be a Latin fusion restaurant,” chef and CEO Fabian Diaz tells What Now Orlando. “We’ll have dishes from Colombia, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba and Peru — so on our menu you’ll find mofongo, ceviche, and fajitas.”

Readers eager for this multinational smorgasbord can anticipate an opening in the coming months.

“Right now we don’t exactly when we will open as we are delayed with some inspections. But we’re hoping for mid summer, June or July.”

And if things go well at this latest location, Mr. Diaz and his team see a route towards further expansion.

“We do have goals to expand, potentially franchising the brand to our own workers.”

Readers eager for a taste of Parva may find the original location at 222 W Lake Mary Blvd in Sanford.
