The chain known for hand-cut steaks and fresh catch seafood is growing in the South.
Garnett Station Partners looks to be pursuing a new Firebirds Wood Fired Grill location at 11506 Regency Village Drive. The company continues to favor the Florida market following their Jacksonville debut. An opening date has not yet been set.
North Carolina-based Firebirds currently operates in four locations around the Sunshine State, in Orlando, Jacksonville, Pembroke Pines and Dania Beach. The Orlando spot opened in 2014 at 1562 N Mills Avenue, just north of downtown. At the time, the chain was owned by Angelo, Gordon & Co.
The options at Firebirds restaurants are extensive, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served. Their happy hour menu includes hand-made cocktails accompanied by shared plates like prime rib sliders, crispy cauliflower and fired up shrimp. For Thanksgiving, locations are offering a dinner feast that serves six for pickup Nov. 25-26.
The plaza is right off the Daryl Carter Parkway exit on Interstate 4. A Cheesecake Factory is also at this location, and the area is also home to a Chipotle, CAVA and Kuru Revolving Sushi Bar. Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets is just south of the development.
Margherita concept Fat Rosie’s is also pursuing the area off the Interstate, and it is expected to open sometime soon. More updates on Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and future locations can be found on their website.
