Growing chain Culver’s is planning a new Ormond Beach spot, according to recent public records. The newest location, run by Ormond Beach Food Ventures, LLC, will open at 655 W Granada Boulevard.

“Construction will be done middle of November, so without weather disturbance, we’ll have an opening Dec. 9,” said restaurant operator Davis Ferreria to Hometown News Volusia.

The location will be a 4,550-square-foot restaurant with 86 indoor seats, an outdoor patio with 24 seats and a drive-through window, per the report.

“We cook to order and we’re not the regular fast food chain that pre-cook their products and then shove it to you once you get to the window. You will taste the difference,” said Ferreira. “It’s almost a sit-down type of product with a very reasonable price.”

“We’re talking about custard. We’re talking about cheese curds, which is obviously from the cheese country of Wisconsin. We’re also talking fresh, never frozen, beef,” Mr. Ferreria said.

“We also know quality is something you can taste,” the official website states. “So every ButterBurger is cooked to order and topped with a lightly buttered, toasted bun. And our Fresh Frozen Custard is made in small batches right in the restaurant all day, every day. It’s not the easiest way to do it, but we believe it’s the right way. “

No opening date has been announced.
