Baltimore-based The Cordish Cos. will soon debut Palm Tree Club Orlando, “the brainchild of Norwegian DJ and music producer Kygo,” per a recent OBJ article.

Reportedly, Kygo (Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll)—who boasts collaborations with musicians such as John Legend, Labrinth, Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic and Rita Ora along with a 2016 Summer Olympics performance in Rio de Janeiro—is now taking his talents to the hospitality game as he launches a 118-suite hotel and restaurant: Palm Tree Club.

“Palm Tree Club Orlando will be two stories, with a restaurant downstairs and a club and open-air rooftop lounge above. The 11,000-square-foot space will be tropical-themed, with views of the surrounding International Drive corridor and seating areas that can transition into a dance floor,” the report states, adding that the menu will offer Asian picks such as Wagyu dumplings, Thai snapper, sushi and nigiri. Further, the establishment will serve cocktails, such as the PTC Martini.

No opening date has been announced.
