Retailer to open its newest store across the street from an existing Buckhead location.
Michael Kors, an American luxury lifestyle retailer, is opening its fourth Georgia location.
It will open at Phipps Plaza, across the street from the existing Michael Kors boutique at Lenox Square Mall.
Michael Kors filed a permit with City of Atlanta Monday for tenant finishes at its new Buckhead location. It will replaced the recently shuttered Theory, space 1083-B at the mall.
Construction will cost an estimated $250,000, according to the permit.
The American luxury lifestyle retailer also has a Perimeter Mall location and an outlet in Dawsonville, according to its website.
Michael Kors was not immediately available for comment.
Bo-ring. It’s a real shame the Theory boutique is closing. I really like Theory. Where else can a slender, fit man find good looking black/white clothing without all the labels and frills?
Yes Johnny, it is a shame that slender, fit men have so few shopping choices. We are all shedding a tear for you.
Loved and shopped at theory quite a bit. Obviously not enough since they are closing. I agree with Johnny, their clothes fit me like a glove. Oh well, can always order online!
So will the offerings at this location differ from those at the Lenox one? I hope so – otherwise this catty cornered replication boggles the mind.
No, instead of the typical Kors boutique, this location is planned to feature more
couture items from the Michael Kors collection, including runway pieces.
meh – michael kors clothes are overrated.
