The franchise chain Crema Gourmet Espresso has another location planned for south Florida. According to plan review filings with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the new location will appear at 8915 SW 72 Place.
What Now spoke with franchisee Matthew Gentile, who explained that the shop wished to already be open, but because of supply chain issues, they’ve had to push their anticipated opening to May. Construction on the space was mostly cosmetic, Gentile shared, and is just now wrapping up. The tentative opening date has been set on May 1st.
Across the street from Dadeland Mall, the café will be nearing other establishments, such as: Empire Social Lounge, Pubbelly Sushi and Ghee Indian Kitchen.
The brand, according to their website, has announced that they are expanding to Pinecrest, Boca Raton, Dania Pointe, Lauderdale by the Sea and Las Olas. However, Gentile could not confirm if he was going to be franchising any of these units.
