Spinato’s Pizzeria, a family-owned pizza shop bringing authentic Italian flavors since 1974, is adding a sixth shop in Gilbert at 3150 E Ray Road.

The pizzeria, currently owned and operated by Anthony Spinato, grew by word-of-mouth over the years. According to their website, “every guest was (and still is) treated like a member of the family.”

That welcoming ambience is credited for inspiring the family legacy. That, and the family’s constant exploration and experimentation with the flavors, including a line of broccoli crust pizzas.

The new location will be part of a complex called the Epicenter at Agratopia. Spinato told ABC 15 News earlier this year, “Our decision to partner with the Johnston family at Epicenter was an easy decision for us — it’s what we refer to as a perfect recipe!”

He added that they were both “excited” and “awed” to be apart of the concepts handpicked by the Johnston’s.

The sixth location will join the likes of their Tempe, North Phoenix, Central Phoenix, North Scottsdale, and Ahwatukee locations, which diners can still visit and enjoy while they await the next opening.

What Now Phoenix reached out to Spinato on Thursday for more information about the opening date, but he was unavailable by phone. However, the website for the Epicenter says openings will be announced by Winter 2021.
