Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom is coming soon to Goodyear, according to a recent liquor license issued by the State of Arizona. The restaurant is to take over the former Romano’s Macaroni Grill at 1828 N. Litchfield Road off I-10 near Palm Valley. The timing of our source suggests that opening will happen early 2022.

Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom was founded in 1976 in Boulder, Colorado. Inspired by 1920’s Chicago, the restaurant serves classic thick crust, tavern thin crust pizzas, and everything in between. Their menu goes beyond pizza and offers a selection of rolls, calzones, wings, burgers, pasta and more.

The restaurant is also known for serving a variety of beers on tap from all over the world, starting with local brews found just around the corner. You can bet that this new Goodyear location will feature local Arizona brews at the forefront of the robust beer list they’re developing. For more information, visit oldchicago.com.
