Following its Valley debut in Gilbert and another recent opening in Mesa, eegee’s is gearing up to move on to Phoenix. The fast-food chain recently filed a building permit with the city and is set to begin construction at 3510 W. Peoria Ave.
The permit notes that a brand-new, freestanding single-story 3,585 square-foot building with a drive-thru will be built from the ground up. The timing of this source suggests that this eegee’s location will be ready to serve Phoenix customers in Q1 of 2022.
The Tucson-based fast food chain has long planned their move into the Phoenix metropolitan area. If you don’t already know, they are known for their namesake menu item, the eegee, which is a smooth frozen beverage blended to perfection with fresh fruit. It comes in lemon, strawberry, piña colada, skinny berry, and their rotating flavor of the month.
To find out which flavor they’ll be doling out when the Peoria Avenue location finally debuts, follow eegee’s on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Keep an eye on their website also for updates on this and more upcoming locations. Representatives for eegee’s have not returned requests for comment at the time of publication.
