Sid’s Garage from Idaho is establishing roots in Arizona. This week, the restaurant submitted an application for a liquor license with the state and began construction at the Desert Ridge Marketplace on 21002 N. Tatum Blvd. Sid’s Garage is, in their own words, “a place where full throttle comfort food and beverage meets kicking music all in an electric cozy vibe.”
Known for their brews, burgers, and shakes, Sid’s Garage serves the kind of food that is an event in itself. Take the Boss Hog Burger, for example. It’s a half-pound Wagyu and Black Angus Blend from Snake River Farms and Double R Ranch, topped with 48-hour braised pork belly, onion rings, and Sriracha bourbon BBQ sauce.
Their new Sweet Baby Jesus Shake is a blend of birthday cake, buttercream, vanilla bean ice cream and rainbow sprinkles, which gets topped off with an entire slice of funfetti cake. The menu is just half of the occasion at Sid’s Garage, which is also a place to relax and enjoy music, entertainment, and special events.
Co-Owner Will Primavera confirmed in a phone call with What Now Phoenix that they plan to open this spring. He and wife Nicole founded Sid’s Garage in Idaho, where they have two locations in Boise and Meridian. Having family down here in the Valley, they jumped on the opportunity to become a part of its burgeoning “culinary chops.”
“Our core beliefs revolve around supporting local in an area where community means so much,” they state in a press release. Their Desert Ridge location will feature a large custom patio, full bar, and adult gaming area. For more information, visit www.sidsgarage.com.
