The Bar in Arcadia is known for its elevated comfort food and Midwestern hospitality served up in a Big Lebowski setting. Now, they are about to debut the concept in the East Valley with The Bar Gilbert, where the theme is “Pulp Fiction” at 366 N. Gilbert Road.
Frank Vairo, President of Blueprint Hospitality Group, tells What Now Phoenix that they hope to open The Bar Gilbert by March in the former Copper 48 space next to Barrio Queen and OHSO Brewery. Vairo adds that The Bar Gilbert will be even more “grandiose” than its Phoenix predecessor.
The Bar Gilbert will feature a pool table, a myriad of television screens, and an epic stereo system. Though we can expect the same John Blaze Honey Hot wings, the menu is going to expand with scratch-made bar foods developed under Chef Arturo Garino.
The establishment will pay homage to Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction” not only with the decor, but also with foods from the movie such as the Royale with Cheese and inspired adult milkshakes. Vairo says that you should plan to check it out especially on the weekends, when the vibes will be more energetic and high-volume than ever before.
