Mochinut is coming soon to Peoria! The mochi doughnut franchise has a location planned for 7549 W. Cactus Road next to Lee Lee International Supermarkets. A recent sign permit found in city public records suggests that construction is underway and it’s possible that we might see this new location open as early as spring.

Mochinut specializes in mochi doughnuts, Korean Rice Flour Hotdogs, and Bubble Tea. In 2020, CEO Jaewook Ha founded Mochinut in Cerritos, California. The craze instantly took off, prompting expansion of the Mochinut chain throughout the United States. The franchisees of the Peoria Mochinut could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.

Mochi doughnuts are distinct for their light, chewy texture that comes from rice flour. Mochinut rotates flavors every day, from Strawberry, Churro, Matcha, and more. In addition to the upcoming Peoria location, Mochinut also has sights set on Phoenix. For now, you can get a taste at the Tempe outpost. For more information, visit www.mochinut.com.
