Cornish Pasty Co. may be plotting its eighth location in north Phoenix. Late last week, the state of Arizona issued the British pub a license to serve alcohol at 18725 N. 32nd St. by Paradise Valley Community College off southbound SR 51.

A year ago, Cornish Pasty Co. was plotting its downtown Phoenix location and has since expanded out of the Valley, with locations in Flagstaff, Las Vegas, and Boulder City. Based on the timing of our source, we suppose that this north Phoenix location might be opening over the next few months.

When contacted, representatives for Cornish Pasty Co. declined to comment. In any case, it would behoove the British restaurant to open a location in this neck of the woods. That way, folks in the north Valley wouldn’t have to travel too far out to get a taste of their favorite Cornish pasties, of which Cornish Pasty Co. has over 40 varieties.

In addition to downtown Phoenix, the chain maintains three other locations throughout the Valley in Scottsdale, Mesa, and their original outpost in Tempe. For more information, visit www.cornishpastyco.com.
