Nautical Bowls, the fast-growing superfood specialist serving acai bowls, is preparing to open three new locations under a new franchise owner.
Franchisee David Patalsky, Vice President of Finance for New Reach Education, tells What Now Phoenix he plans to open his first location later this year, possibly early next year, in Avondale. After this, his second location will be found across the street from the Cardinals stadium in Glendale, expected to open around this time next year. Finally, the new franchisee will open a third location somewhere in the West Valley in later 2024. Possible sites include Goodyear, Surprise, and Peoria.
While Patalsky currently plans to open only three locations in the area, Nautical Bowls is planning a much more significant expansion in the area. According to the company’s website, at least 12 new locations are coming to the Phoenix area, reaching areas such as Gilbert, Tempe, and Scottsdale. At the moment, the only way Phoenix residents can get their hands on some Nautical Bowl products is by visiting the sole area location in Scottsdale or making a trip to Oro Valley. The expansion is expected to begin soon, with a site in Phoenix at 21001 N. Tatum Boulevard Site 80-1660 opening sometime next month.
When these locations open, customers can expect some delicious superfoods that are both healthy and tasty. Entrepreneurs and husband-and-wife-duo Rachel and Bryant Amundson founded Nautical Bowls in 2018 as a way to provide customers on the go with a way to eat healthier. All bowls are gluten-, dairy-free, plant-based, and soy-free and made with organic, all-natural ingredients. On top of being delicious, it’s a refreshing way to stay cool during the hot summer heat.
