A Bobazona franchise is opening in the Laveen Spectrum, which is a brand new shopping center complex with restaurants, retail, and fitness.

Franchisee Gavin Cooper told What Now Phoenix, “If construction moves as expected, we should be open by December 2023. At our location customers can expect to get the award-winning boba tea drinks and Italian gelato they’ve come to love from Bobazona with the local small town friendly feel of Laveen.”

The eatery will be located at 5910 W Baseline Road, adjacent to the newly completed Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway. Other business by the new Bobazona include Raising Cane’s, In-N-Out, Panera, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.

What Now Phoenix has also previously covered a corporate Bobazona location opening.

The franchise offers beverages of all kinds — tea, coffee, slushies, and options for energy — with a focus on boba, tapioca pearls typically found in bubble tea, a Taiwanese tea-based drink dating back to the 1980s. There’s also gelato on the Bobazona menu.
