Chop Stop, a California-based chain of quick-serve chopped salads, is making its Arizona debut on the corner of Loop 101 and Chandler Boulevard in Chandler, according to Mouth by Southwest.

Similar to Valley-born Salad and Go, Chop Stop takes a unique spin on salads, offering 10 specialty chopped salads. Menu items include the Santa Fe Chop, the Cobb Chop, and the Greek Chop. Customers can also choose to opt for customizing their salads with a build-your-own option. They also have eight “Chopaninis,” which are salads wrapped in a spinach tortilla, as well as four “Chopurritos,” which are rice and bean bowls topped with salad ingredients.

The chain uses high quality, wholesome foods, including locally-grown produce whenever possible, and most Chops are hearty – weighing over a pound.

With a slogan that says “more than a salad,” their website states the following: “We’re fast food. Not “fast food.” Fast food! Our patented chopping processes allow us to serve a customized salad in about three minutes, so you spend less time waiting for your meal and more time enjoying it.”

What Now Phoenix did not immediately hear back from Chop Shop for comment, and an exact opening date has not been announced yet.
