Peoria will be getting a Jet’s Pizza franchise at 7518 W Thunderbird Road, according to owner Matt Hunter.

“We will be a true family business with myself, my wife Amy Hunter, and 23-year-old son Dylan Hunter opening Jet’s Pizza out of some 400+ nationwide – but this will be the first in Peoria. We are originally from the Detroit-Metro where Jet’s Pizza is based, and are happy to bring a very popular Midwest brand out this way. We are currently in development now and we are pushing for an April 1st, 2024 grand opening,” Hunter told What Now Phoenix.

The franchisee also added, “We have introduced it to some of our friends and neighbors here in Arizona, which we transplanted to in 2019, and we would travel to Scottsdale to get it as that was our closest location, which was also opened by a Michigan native. Every time we shared it with friends and neighbors here in the Valley, they instantly became a convert. A Jet’s Pizza is different in the sense that it is a square pizza with a different texture and thickness to it which is the classic ‘Detroit -style’, and a wonderful crunch. The 4-corner and 8-corner pizzas are the top sellers.”

The new location is part of Thunderbird Plaza, which includes other forthcoming businesses such as Slick City Action Park, Pickle Guild, I Heart Mac N Cheese, UPS, Alera Care, and PNC Bank.
