Chicken Salad Chick is a fast-casual restaurant specializing in chicken salad, and an ownership group is currently scouting the Greater New Orleans area for four franchise locations. Bill DiPaolo is one member of the group who brings decades of restaurant and franchising experience. DiPaolo recently told What Now New Orleans that his group is looking at locations in Metairie, Kenner, Gretna, and Hammond.

DiPaolo said he, his wife Anne and their franchise partners were drawn to Chicken Salad Chick for the restaurant’s food, which includes sandwiches, melts, soups, and salads made with fresh ingredients.  He also said his group was drawn to Chicken Salad Chick’s commitment to community service.

“Service is part of our DNA and it is part of the DNA at Chicken Salad Chick,” he said. Speaking with What Now New Orleans, Anne added that she is a cancer survivor and she’s looking forward to supporting research through the non-profit Chicken Salad Chick Foundation: “That’s something I’m really excited to roll my sleeves up and get involved in,” she said.

Bill DiPaolo said he’s in the midst of scouting locations and could not provide an opening date for any of the locations.

“The second that I find a location that does everything we need for our guests, we’re gonna go for it,” he said.
