Dying To Get Midtown Space

The owners behind The Graveyard Tavern in the East Atlanta Village, a restaurant identified by the ever-parked hearse near the entrance, are currently conjuring up the next big restaurant idea.

Want the scoop? Well, conduct an Séance to call forth additional information from the spirits of the future cause it’s a dead end; there aren’t any.

What we do know is where the new concept will open and what will happen to the restaurant of the space they’re taking over.

St. Charles Deli, located at 22 Fifth Street at Technology Square in Midtown, will relocate to make room for the new eatery (this location has been the death of them according to neighboring restaurants. cough, Rays Pizza, un-cough).

St. Charles Deli isn’t going far though– they’ll be relocating across Spring Street in what was most recently Lexington Chocolatier, parallel to the shuttered WaterHaven restaurant and scrunched between Waffle House and Great Clips.

The owners of The Graveyard Tavern don’t seem to be in any rush in finalizing and conceptualizing details. Suppose it’s a disregard for time from the standpoint of an eternal afterlife. As for St. Charles Deli, expect a relocation before summers end.

Check back often and we’ll be sure to muster up additional deets as they awaken.
