A new Spanish-French brasserie is expected to open in Q1 of this year at The Collective, located at 3900 Paradise Road. Braseria, the new concept, will take over the former Yolie’s Brazilian Steakhouse space, located on the second floor, says coverage by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Behind Braseria is a success story: it’s a new restaurant from the team the created EDO Tapas and Anima. That team has been winning one award after the other these last few years. Chef Oscar Amador was nominated for a James Beard Award in 2023, and was nominated for the Beard for best chef in the U.S.—meanwhile, in 2023, EDO Tapas was one of Yelp’s top 100 restaurants in the Southwest and was named Yelp’s best new restaurant in the U.S.
“To have received those awards, it’s definitely leapfrogged us into wanting to grow,” co-owner Joe Mikulich says in another piece of Review-Journal coverage.
What Now reached out to co-owner Roberto Liendo to inquire about the timeline for launch and more details on the menu at Braseria. Liendo was not immediately available for comment.
Further menu details still appear to be under wraps for the moment, but the restaurant’s food offerings are expected to be strongly influenced by the cuisine of Barcelona, and by its proximity to France.
