Known for restaurants like Wynn Las Vegas’s La Cave and La Comida, Michael and Jenna Morton of the Morton Group are preparing to open their first neighborhood restaurant in Las Vegas. Nudo Italiano, that new restaurant, will open at West Cactus Avenue and Arville Street this May, according to a recent update from the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Details are still largely under wraps about Nudo Italiano, but a few bits have trickled through:
“William DeMarco, the group’s culinary director, is creating a menu that showcases pappardelle with veal ragù and flank steak braciole with pesto,” the RJ coverage says.
Meanwhile, coverage from Eater Las Vegas published last summer promises “pasta, Neapolitan pizza, and fresh-baked bread.”
“Nudo Italiano will be a more family-friendly and casual restaurant than Morton Group’s nightclub-adjacent Nove Italiano at the Palms of the early 2000s,” the Eater coverage says.
What Now reached out to Jenna Morton on Thursday to ask about the Nudo Italiano’s menu (and the space, about which we still know little!). Morton was not immediately available for comment.
