Piatti, a renowned Italian restaurant chain, is set to make a debut at 222 Ocean Avenue in Laguna Beach, reports state. Best of Laguna Beach states the business will take over a space that has previously been home to several well-known eateries.
The concept, which is under Palisades Hospitality Group, promises a fresh take on the traditional neighborhood trattoria, offering authentic, handmade pasta and Italian-inspired dishes like osso buco, veal scallopini, and a variety of pizzas.
Founded in 1987, Piatti’s first restaurant opened in the San Diego area, and the company has since expanded. It has locations in Mill Valley, Danville, La Jolla, Sacramento, Seattle, and two in San Antonio.
This new Piatti follows the closing of several other restaurants in the same space, including Taverna, Ocean at Main, Cabana, and Suenos. The location is just steps from the beach in the busiest part of town.
