Mr. Moto Pizza, a popular pizzeria renowned for its unique take on New York-style pizza, is set to expand to the Oak Creek area of Irvine, liquor licensing shows. It has an anticipated opening in early 2025, will bring its signature pizzas, pastas, and specialty offerings to the Orange County area.

Jorge Moreno, marketing director, told What Now OC that the business has been under construction and that “our estimated opening date is early 2025. We always leave it without a date since we are months out.” State records show the liquor license is currently in the process of approval.

Founded in 2015 in Pacific Beach, San Diego, by Gibran Fernandez, Mr. Moto Pizza is a SoCal favorite, Little Italy SD writes. The pizzeria’s dough is crafted with a secret recipe and allowed to rise for 24 hours to achieve a fluffy outer edge and a crispy bottom.

The new Irvine location will serve a variety of specialty pies. The brand’s website shows the menu includes options like the “Furious Diablo”, the “Mamma Moto”, and the “California Love”. For those seeking a bit of everything, there are garlic knots and stuffed knots on the menu, alongside hearty pastas like spaghetti and meatballs or chicken pesto rigatoni.
