Dutch Bros Coffee is continuing its rapid expansion, with a new location set to open in Indio, according to the Desert Sun. The new shop will be part of a 6.12-acre shopping center proposed for the northeast corner of Jackson Street and Avenue 42, which is set to bring a variety of fast-food options to the area.

It joins a proposed Chick-fil-A as announced tenants for the center. This new opening will mark Dutch Bros’ third location in the Coachella Valley, adding to its existing spots in La Quinta and Indio. The brand has several SoCal projects under development.

The company has been growing at an impressive rate, with plans to open its 1,000th location in February 2025, GCR Mag reports. In fact, Forbes wrote that “in the third quarter of 2024, it marked its 13th consecutive quarter of opening 30 or more shops.” Its overall goal is to reach 4,000 locations in the future.

A representative for Dutch Bros told What Now OC, “We’re still in the very early planning stages and don’t have anything to share as of now… In the following months, we’ll hopefully have more info!”
