Fox Brothers BBQ owners opening new Decatur concept

Fox Bros. Rib Joint to replace Maddy’s in Decatur.

Fox Brothers Restaurant Group (FBRG), the restaurant group behind Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and Big Tex Decatur, Wednesday announced in a press release, plans for a new concept called Fox Bros. Rib Joint.

The fast-casual concept, at 1479 Scott Boulevard, will focus on “finger-licking food, quick service and a relaxed ambiance,” according to the release.

Fox Bros. Rib Joint will replace the now shuttered Maddy’s in Decatur. There will be indoor and outdoor seating.

The rib joint is expected to open summer 2012.
