The San Diego Pardes are preparing to complete a makeover of the historic Western Metal Supply Company Building within Petco Park, located in Downtown at 215 Tony Gwynn Dr.

Renovation plans include updates to the Budweiser Loft on the 5th Level, the Foul Pole Suite, the Entertainment Suite, the Rooftop, and the Padres New Era Team Store, according to the company’s website. These renovations are expected to be completed by the San Diego Padre’s opening date, scheduled for Thursday, March 28, when the team hosts the San Francisco Giants. This comes after the Padres unveiled a $20 million remodel of Gallagher’s Square earlier this year.

The new and improved Budweiser Loft features an elevated social space that celebrates the unique historic character of the building while adding refined hospitality touches. Fans can enjoy a renovated bar, new premium furniture and games, and an enhanced guest experience. The most transformational change includes a new grand staircase that will, for the first time, connect the Budweiser Loft directly to the fully renovated Western Metal Rooftop. This bar and space will continue to be open to the public and a Member Happy Hour location.

The remodeled Rooftop will feature a 4,000-square-foot raised deck, offering new and improved sightlines and increased capacity. Fans can enjoy our new, premium lounge seating, the covered trellis, which will offer shade and overhead heating, as well as two new videoboards measuring 16×9′ so you won’t miss a minute of the action. Plus, there will be a new feature wall on the field-facing side, which will light up, including the night sky, for celebratory moments. Priority for the Rooftop will be given to groups of 300 or more. With the new, transformational grand staircase and direct connectivity to the Budweiser Loft, we can comfortably accommodate groups exceeding 1,000 people.

Tucked inside the chic, new Budweiser Loft sits the Foul Pole Suite. Still, in the exact great location inside the iconic Western Metal Building on the left field foul pole, the Foul Pole Suite includes luxury finishes and furniture, a new catering layout, and semi-private restrooms. With expanded capacity, we can comfortably accommodate groups of 20+ to make unforgettable memories.

Just beyond the left field porch and in the heart of home run territory is the improved Entertainment Suite, an extension of the remodeled Team Store. With an expanded exterior deck, additional field-facing seats, new luxury finishes, and furniture, increased in-suite privacy, a new premium catering layout, and access to renovated semi-private restrooms, the Entertainment Suite is perfect for groups of 16+.

The Padres New Era Team Store will expand by approximately 1,000 square feet of new floor space, benefiting fans on and off gamedays. The renovations include increased checkout locations, new modern finishes and lighting, optimized merchandise displays, and remodeled restrooms.
