Life Time with LifeCafe is getting ready to open a new location in Chula Vista at 1650 East Main Street.
The company’s newest location is set to open down the street from Olympian High School, according to a recent Type-47 liquor license application first reported by SanDiegoVille. While this location isn’t set to open until late 2025, according to the company’s website, it is one of many new Life Time locations opening across the United States. LifeCafe is a full-service dining and bar component with alcoholic beverages and health-focused snacks.
While Life Time only has one San Diego location in La Jolla, the company has over 170 locations across the United States. Life Time offers a unique combination of fitness, dining, and community, unlike other gyms. The company is embarking on an extensive expansion plan, with 20 new locations opening in the next two years, starting with a new site in North Druid Hills, GA, on December 16, with another planned for Rosemount, MN, at the end of the year. Life Time will open nine locations next year and at least six in 2026.
When the new Chula Vista locations open in 2026, customers can expect a full-scale gym with various features to encourage new and experienced customers. For fuel, either before or after a workout, Life Time will have a LifeCafe, offering salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and other menu items to go, available via curbside carryout or contactless delivery. Lifecafe will be open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
