Pushkin’s Bakery and Cafe, a Sacramento-based eatery located in Roseville and Midtown, is preparing to open a new site at 2920 Arden Way in the Arden-Arcade area.
The company’s third location will be in a strip mall that houses several other businesses, including a chiropractic office, Uniform Advantage, and Lima Salon & Spa. According to the Sacramento Business Journal, the new location will serve as a retail space and function as a production facility for Pushkin’s wholesale and direct-to-consumer flour mixes. The layout and menu of this new Pushkin’s Bakery and Cafe will closely resemble those of the Roseville location, and it is expected to open in Summer 2025.
When the new location opens, customers can look forward to various treats, including cookies, cupcakes, muffins, sweet breads, scones, espresso drinks, and cakes available for sale and made to order. For those seeking savory options, the bakery will offer crispy chicken sandwiches, lasagna, nachos, and salads, providing something for everyone. Like its other locations, Pushkin’s Bakery and Cafe will feature gluten- and dairy-free baked goods.
The new 3,840-square-foot space will allocate approximately half to the retail storefront, while the rest will be dedicated to the chain’s flour blending services. This will allow Pushkin’s Bakery and Cafe to package and ship its flour mixes for wholesale and directly to consumers. Previously, the company operated a production facility in Carmichael that allowed them to blend their proprietary flour mixes on-site, but the ownership team wanted to find a facility large enough to support both retail and production.
This is a massive accomplishment for Pushkin’s Bakery and Cafe, considering co-owners Danny and Olga Turner opened their first location at 1820 29th St. in Sacramento in 2013 before expanding to Roseville in 2019. The Turners are also behind Babes at 2417 J St., and restaurant Sibling By Pushkin’s at 1813 Capitol Ave. in Sacramento.
