H&H Bagels, the iconic New York City bagel brand, is excited to announce the signing of three additional franchising groups expanding to markets in Miami, Raleigh-Durham, San Diego, and Orange County. This will bring the development pipeline to 70 confirmed franchise locations.

With these newest franchise groups, H&H Bagels will open 20 additional locations – five in Miami, five in Raleigh-Durham/Chapel Hill, five in San Diego, and five in Orange County, according to a press release. The news marks an exciting milestone for the brand, which has already confirmed forthcoming openings, including California (Santa Monica, Echo Park), Connecticut (Stamford), Florida (West Palm Beach, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Jacksonville, Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Boynton Beach), Illinois (Chicago), Massachusetts (Boston), Tennessee (Knoxville), Texas (Dallas), Virginia (Northern, Virginia Beach / Norfolk) and Washington D.C.

The franchise group behind the H&H Bagels expansion across San Diego and Orange County (AKL Bagels, LLC) is led by a team of experienced franchisees, including Kurt Kuyper, who has over 30 years of experience in franchise operations for well-known brands, including Krispy Kreme, where he launched over 120 locations in the US and served as the Director of Operations for Krispy Kreme Australia. Other people involved include Jimmy Albano, who has over 20 years of experience in franchise management (including serving as majority partner and daily operator for multiple Krispy Kreme locations), Jay Lowder, a fitness industry veteran and founder of an equipment maintenance company, and Stuart Lowder, a well-known film, animation, and visual effects production professional.

“We’re incredibly excited to continue growing H&H with these truly exceptional franchising partners in Miami, Southern California, and North Carolina.” Jay Rushin, CEO of H&H Bagels, said in a press release. “With the success of Boca Rato and Santa Monica on the horizon, we’re looking forward to sharing the New York City bagel experience with more communities nationwide this year.”

Building on the significant success of its first franchise in Boca Raton, H&H Bagels continues expanding to other cities around the country. Its mission is to share classic, authentic New York City bagels with customers nationwide. For a complete list of upcoming locations, please visit hhbagels.com/contact#locations.

The menu at each location will carry the same known and loved NYC classics, including the Classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese and the Nova Salmon with “The Works.” Classic spread sandwiches are available, including a variety of cream cheese flavors, such as Scallion, Jalapeño, Vegetable, Walnut Raisin, and Strawberry, as well as the classic bagel options customers love, including Plain, Everything, Sesame, Cinnamon Raisin, Jalapeño Cheddar, Whole Wheat, Egg, Pumpernickel, and more. Specialty sandwiches are also included on the menu, including the Horseradish Roast Beef made with top-round roast beef, swiss cheese, pickled onion, and horseradish aioli, as well as the Avocado Deluxe, including fresh avocado, tomato, cucumbers, everything seeds, and mayo.

H&H Bagels has also built a significant following for their catering boxes, which are beautifully designed to be on display, creatively packaging a variety of bagels with toppings and spreads. Options include the Classic Bagels & Spreads Box and the Nova Salmon Box with “The Works,” which includes thinly sliced Nova Scotia Salmon and the classic toppings: tomatoes, onions, capers, and lemons. H&H also offers boxes of pre-made sandwiches for parties of 10 or more, including the Breakfast Sandwich Box filled with various egg sandwiches and the Specialty Sandwich Box featuring their lunchtime options.
