Daniel Zimdahl is planning to open a new restaurant, Era, at 589 11th Avenue, according to liquor license paperwork filed this month.

The spot was last home to Irish pub McQuaid’s, which closed a little over a year ago.

The proposed menu for the restaurant includes light bites like chicken tenders and wings; burgers and chicken sandwiches; salads; sliders, nachos, quesadillas, fish & chips and shepherd’s pie.

The space, which includes both the ground floor and the basement, is planned to have 14 tables that will seat 70 and one bar that will seat 13. The proposed hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. daily.

Era’s website indicates plans to open in March, though further details remain unknown.

What Now New York reached out to Zimdahl for additional information but did not hear back prior to the time of publication.
