A new fast-casual dining spot is on its way to Memphis.

City permits reveal that Majd Abukhalil is preparing to open The Plate at 4205 Hacks Cross Rd, Suite 110. The upcoming restaurant will join a retail center that’s also home to Meals For You and Memphis Finest Barber Shop.

Although Abukhalil has not responded to multiple inquiries from What Now Memphis, the permits suggest that the 50-seat eatery will focus on fast food.

Further confirmation comes from a Facebook post from one of Abukhalil’s other ventures, where he shared The Plate’s logo—a simple illustration of a fork, knife, and plate.

Keep an eye out for updates as more information becomes available.
