An iced-tea restaurant is making its way to Allen. Per a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, HTeaO will open at 103 N Greenville Ave.
With a square footage of 2,227 feet, the building will be newly constructed with an estimated cost of $700,000. Construction is expected to start in March of next year and be completed by July. According to a project description from the City of Allen, the location will be a restaurant with drive through use and will also be accessible through a parking lot adjacent to the property.
HTeaO is being brought to Allen by Allyson McPherson, owner of Erwin Beverage Services, LLC.
Founded in Amarillo in 2009 by Gary and Kim Hutchens, the brand offers iced tea in 24, 32 and 44 oz. cups, as well as mini, half and full size gallons. Flavors include mint, blueberry green, peach ginger, watermelon and mango fresco, and can be either sweet or unsweet. Teas are brewed hourly with double pass reverse osmosis water and a proprietary blend of broad-leaf green and black teas.
To satisfy its passionate and growing fan base, HTeaO has multiple locations across the Lone Star State, as well as locations in Florida, Kansas and Oklahoma, with many more in the works.
