A pizza restaurant founded in Sacramento, California is moving into the Lone Star State. Pizza Guys has announced it plans to open 66 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. There is no word on when or where the first Pizza Guys will open in DFW.

“Our brand has been thriving across the Pizza Guys network because we have been able to keep providing our customers with access to trustworthy and delicious food offerings. Customizable restaurant options have become exponentially more popular since customers prefer the autonomy of creating what they’re craving over ordering the same thing,” said Shahpour Nejad, CEO and co-founder of Pizza Guys, in a press release.

Pizza Guys makes its dough from scratch each day and uses fresh, high-quality ingredients in its menu of specialty pizzas and more. Menu items include cheese-stuffed crust pizzas, heart-shaped pizzas, flatbreads, pastas, wings, and salads.

“We look forward to partnering with new franchisees all across Texas who can help share our delicious food and embrace Pizza Guys in their community,” Nejad said. Pizza Guys plans to open a total of about 120 locations in other Texas cities including Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. Pizza Guys was founded in 1986 and currently has 85 locations across three states along the West Coast.
