A new pho concept is expected to open in Prosper this summer. Phoke Noodles & Grill is planned for 4580 West University Dr., Ste. 60 in Prosper.

Phoke Noodles & Grill owner Tai Nguyen told What Now Dallas that they hope to open their first location in mid-July. “We are almost done with the building right now.”

Nguyen’s family owns several restaurants in California including T & T in San Leandro. Nguyen moved to North Texas a couple of years ago and realized the area needed more Vietnamese food options. Coupled with this discovery and years of restaurant experience, Nguyen decided to open the new pho concept.

Phoke Noodles & Grill will focus its menu on pho and will use special bowls to hold the heat longer for a better taste. “We will use a homemade, fresh noodle,” Nguyen added. “It’s softer than the traditional noodle.”

On the menu, rice dishes, traditional Vietnamese barbecue with a variety of proteins including pork, chicken, and beef, and other noodle dishes will be featured.
