Carrollton coffee fanatics, get ready for a fresh cup of joe, poured by the steady hand of a popular national brand. Dutch Bros is gearing up to begin construction on a new location-their second in the area-according to official licensing documents.
The cafe will be opening 3330 East Trinity Mills Road, not too far from an existing Dutch Bros located at 1211 East Trinity Mills Road. Paperwork submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that construction is slated to begin on the $200,000 buildout on January 27, with a wrap date of May 15, 2025.
The 767 square foot building previously housed a Salad and Go. Dutch Bros is planning on renovating the space, not demolishing the building for a brand-new construction.
Dutch Bros has been competitive in the coffee game since its founding in Oregon in 1992. The chain has expanded to include 912 storefronts, primarily spread across the American West, as of August 2024.
As one might reasonably expect, the concept offers an impressive array of java drinks, both hot and cold. However, Dutch Bros extends beyond traditional coffee with a menu that features protein coffee, shakes, smoothies, sparkling sodas, and energy drinks. Hungry guests can sate their appetites with a muffin top or a granola bar.
