A local baker who blurs the line between art and cake is preparing to bring Coppell treats almost too beautiful to eat. Noushin Eghterafi is opening the first brick and mortar location of Artsy Cakery later this year, reports Community Impact.

Eghterafi will be setting up the concept’s ovens at 767 West Main Street, suite 109. The baker explains to What Now Dallas that the Coppell neighborhood and community is near and dear to her-making it the perfect place to launch Artsy Cakery. “We’ve been living in Coppell for many years, and our kids go to its schools.” she explains. “Old Town Coppell holds a special place in our hearts—we’ve spent many weekends at the Farmers Market and enjoyed events at the Coppell Arts Center. We feel that a cookies and cupcake store will be a perfect match for this vibrant community.”

Eghterafi-whose cakes are truly beautiful to behold-began Artsy Bakery as a cottage business in 2017. Eventually the demand for her treats exceeded her space, which inspired the move to a storefront. She states “We decided it was time to transition to a brick-and-mortar store. This allows us to expand our offerings to include cakes, cookies, and cupcakes while continuing to create custom cakes by order.”

While Artsy Cakery will not be offering seating, customers can look forward to a truly delectable experience once the concept opens its doors this spring. Eghterafi states that she is hopeful for a March opening, and offers this preview to future visitors: “Our store will offer freshly baked cakes for different occasions, a selection of cupcakes, and cookies with delicious fillings. We’ll also provide coffee and drinks to-go.”

Between Eghterafi’s considerable culinary skills and enthusiasm for the bakery, Artsy Cakery is certain to add a welcome dose of sweetness to the local dining scene. Eghterafi sums it up succinctly, stating : “We are thrilled to join the Coppell community and can’t wait to welcome everyone.”
