An established name in the Dallas restaurant scene is bringing a taste of Italy to Tarrant this year. Phil Doko, the mind behind Lone Star Cafe, is opening a new concept called Italian Table, reports Culture Map Fort Worth.

The new eatery will be a part of the Center Stage Development, located at 1520 North Main Street. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that Italian Table will have 2,345 square feet of space to serve hungry customers.

An opening date is not currently set for Italian Table, however the TLDR paperwork shows that construction on the restaurant was supposed to wrap on February 3 of this year, suggesting delicious Italian cuisine may be close enough to taste.

An abundance of information is not currently available about the restaurant, beyond the fact that it will serve Italian food. Doko, who can claim more than 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry, expresses enthusiasm about having the chance to serve the neighborhood. He states: “I used to own a restaurant in Keller on Golden Triangle and North Beach in 2008, and I got out in 2012 when construction was at Golden Triangle. I love Keller. Customers are very loyal. When this opened, I took the chance to come back here in the community.”
