Keller mornings are about to get a bit more delicious, with the help of a seasoned hospitality professional. Veteran restaurateur Phil Doko is bringing Lone Star Cafe, his breakfast and lunch concept, to the neighborhood later this winter, reports Culture Map Fort Worth.

Keller foodies will be able to enjoy the most important meal of the day at 1500 North Main Street as part of the Center Stage mixed-use development. According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the building-described as “Construction of first-generation restaurant in an existing shell building”-will provide Lone Star with 2,929 square feet of space to greet and feed customers.

Lone Star Cafe is aiming for a February opening. What Now Dallas has reached out to Doko for a firm opening date, but has not yet heard back.

While the restaurant’s extensive menu does feature several lunch options, Lone Star Cafe will truly be a breakfast lover’s paradise. Doko explains: “The good part here is that we’re going to have all-day breakfast. A lot of restaurants in the area, most restaurants, they just do breakfast for two or three hours and then go to a lunch menu.”

Doko operates one other Lone Star Cafe location in Arlington, but is enthusiastic about having the chance to feed Keller. He states: “I love Keller. Customers are very loyal. When this opened, I took the chance to come back here in the community.”
