Denver International Airport celebrated the opening of Voodoo Doughnut on Concourse B. DEN is the first airport location for the brand.

“Although Voodoo Doughnut was founded in Portland, it feels like they are right at home here at DEN,” said DEN CEO Phil Washington in a statement. “We’re honored that they selected DEN as their first airport location. Passengers have been eagerly waiting for Voodoo to arrive, and so have we.”

Voodoo has expanded their Denver footprint and the DEN location is joining two well-established shops in the downtown Denver area on Colfax and South Broadway. There are now 14 Voodoo Doughnuts across six states.

“We’ve been looking forward to working with DEN as a partner in the opening at the Denver Airport so travelers from around the globe can get a taste of that Voodoo Magic,” said Chris Schultz, Voodoo Doughnut CEO. “That time has finally arrived, and we are thrilled,” continued Schultz.

Voodoo Doughnut was brought to DEN by JAF Concessions, a local, women-owned business with Airport Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE), Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certifications.

Passengers can enjoy handmade doughnuts, like the Voodoo Doll and Maple Bacon Bar, as well as Coava Coffee. Voodoo’s DEN location also has a special blue alien mascot – which compliments the conspiracies surrounding the airport.

Voodoo Doughnut officially opened on Oct. 28. They are located on the mezzanine level in the center of Concourse B and are open daily from 5:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
