Local restauranteur Kevin Morrison is making some changes to his lineup of concepts, Denver Post reports. The flagship space of his business Tacos Tequila Whiskey (1514 York St.) has closed to make way for a new company: Rolling Pin Pizza.

The restaurant’s last day was in late February, and Morrison posted on social media that it was a “bittersweet day.” The East Colfax location had been open since 2012, and before that the business was a popular food truck.

Morrison’s KTM Restaurant Group is behind Tacos Tequila Whiskey, RiNo’s Fish N Beer, and the now-shuttered Poco Torteria. The Highlands location of Tacos Tequila Whiskey will remain open amidst the change. A Denver International airport location is also coming.

Rolling Pin Pizza will specialize in Midwestern tavern-style pizzas, with thin, square-cut pies crafted with precision. The business will have a classic line-up of pizzas, as well as rotating monthly specials, and cocktails.
