Kickin Chicken, a popular chicken-centric eatery, is expanding its reach with a new location in Aurora. The brand’s newest restaurant will be situated at 13650 E Colfax Ave, A2, inside the bustling Forum Fitzsimons shopping center.

This latest outpost is slated to open in Fall 2024. It will be the second location for the business, following the success of their flagship store in Lakewood.

“Aurora! We’re super excited to soon be able to call you our home as well,” owner Ivy Pham told What Now Denver. “It’s taken many years to try and understand our business from inside and out. It’s important for us to grow responsibly and for the long term. We want to ensure that we’re doing it right so it benefits our customers—those who’ve been loyal to us since day one and new ones who are willing to give us a try—and our team who works very hard. We can’t wait to share our new home with everyone!”

Kickin Chicken is known for its flavorful twist on traditional fried chicken, combining worldly influences with classic American comfort food. Its signature items include a mouthwatering chicken sandwich topped with slaw and pickles on Texas toast, chicken tenders with a choice of homemade sauces, and creative options like cheddar jalapeño waffles and chicken katsu.

Its new home, the Forum Fitzsimons, is a vibrant retail center located at the southwest corner of Colfax Avenue and Potomac Street. This mixed-use development is directly across from the sprawling 573-acre Anschutz Medical Campus, which, upon completion, is projected to bring in over 50,000 daytime employees and attract 100,000 daily visitors.
