A new brewery is in the works, as veteran brewer Jeff Lockhart gears up to launch his new venture Constellation Brewing Company. The longtime industry pro is excited to be wrapping up the site selection process for a space in the Colorado Springs area, he tells What Now Denver.

Lockhart said that a Letter of Intent (LOI) has been submitted for a location, with an anticipated spring 2025 opening. “We’re looking at about six months to a year for opening, but if this location works out, it could shave a lot of that time off,” he explained.

This is the latest project for Lockhart, a seasoned figure in the brewing industry who has previously collaborated on notable local brands, including Ouray Brewery, Red Leg Brewing, and Deuces Wild Brewing (now DWB Craft Beer).

The project was announced on Constellation Brewing Company’s Facebook page in July. Updates have been posted since then, with one from September showing them securing brewing equipment.
