Chef Troy Guard’s Mexican restaurant Los Chingones, located in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood, is undergoing a significant remodel, according to the company’s website. The other locations are open and operating, but this one — at 10155 E 29th Dr. STE 110 — is currently closed.
A company representative told What Now Denver construction is planned to begin in February and a tentative reopening is slated for early May. Remodeling efforts focus on updating the rooftop patio, converting it into an all-season space for the neighboring sister concept HashTAG.
“We have the best patio in Central Park and we’re excited to convert it for use at our Boozy Brunch spot, HashTAG. As for Los Chingones, I can’t tell you too much about what we have planned yet but we’re excited to tell everyone more soon!” Guard told What Now Media.
Los Chingones’ first location opened in the RiNo neighborhood in 2013 and has since expanded to add two more locations in the Denver Tech Center and the Central Park outpost, which opened eight years ago. Its transformation follows a similar revamp at the RiNo location in the fall, as reported by a What Now Denver article.
