The Greeley location of Luna’s Tacos & Tequila has temporarily closed for a revamp, Biz West reports. Located at 806 9th St. in the downtown corridor, the eatery, which has been one of the main food spots in the area, will undergo unspecified changes.

While the specifics of Luna’s reopening remain under wraps, its website states “Luna’s Downtown Greeley is pressing pause for a bit to reenergize, rejuvenate, and refocus. We’re making some exciting changes – stay tuned for the relaunch.”

A post from the company’s Facebook announced its temporary closure, reading, “We’ve all been through a lot since 2018, and while running Luna’s Downtown has been one of our greatest pleasures, it has also been one of our most difficult challenges.”

Centennial Hospitality Group, which owns Luna’s, opened the downtown location in 2018, making it the first restaurant in Greeley to have a rooftop seating area. A Windsor location was then opened in April 2024, and that business will remain in operation.

The group did not return a request for comment before publication.
