Wing Shack is making a move in Greeley, a new Biz West article announced. The business has purchased the former Kenny’s Steakhouse building at 35th Avenue and 10th Street, with plans to consolidate their existing Ninth Street location into the new space.
The company purchased the property for $1.2 million. For nearly 30 years, the space was home to Kenny’s Steakhouse, originally opened in 1995 as Stampede Steak Ranch. That business closed its doors in October due to economic challenges.
Brian Seifried, co-owner of Wing Shack, told Biz West the changes will take place this spring. The building that houses the moving location, at 4318 W 9th Street Road, is set to become an Empire State Pizza.
According to Retro 102.5, Wing Shack’s journey began in 2004 in Garden City, where it quickly gained popularity for its crispy wings and homemade sauces. Since then, the brand has expanded to multiple locations across Northern Colorado.
The brand did not respond to requests for comment before publication.
