The Sloan’s Lake community is swapping out one local food concept for another. Denver Post reports that Stoney’s Bar & Grill will be taking over for Tap & Burger at 1565 Raleigh Street, which just recently announced it would be closing.

Last week, Tap & Burger, which is owned by CEO of Culinary Creative Group, posted that it was shuttering the Sloan’s Lake outpost of the eatery. It emphasized that its Highlands, Westminster, and Belleview locations were still open and welcoming guests.

“The Culinary Creative Group has made the decision to permanently close Sloan’s Lake Tap and Burger today February 12th…Since opening in 2016, it has been an absolute privilege to be part of this incredible community, and we are deeply grateful for the support, friendships, and memories we have shared.”

Stoney’s Bar & Grill is led by owner Stoney Jesseph, who opened the first location in Capitol Hill in 2010, and has since expanded to Uptown and Winter Park. It is loved for its sports bar atmosphere, and has even received an award from Westword
