Wedgewood-Houston will welcome a brother duo next year.

Ryan and Matthew Poli will open their first restaurant: Iggy’s.

The brothers previously worked as chefs at The Catbird Seat, which they left at the end of 2018, according to the Nashville Scene .

Matthew Poli told the publication that the brothers have been thinking about opening a place of their own for a while, but the pandemic hindered their plans.

Now, with the support of investors who were regulars at The Catbird Seat, the brothers are now planning to open Iggy’s next spring.

Iggy’s will have both in-dining options, a patio and to-go market. The Polis will also offer wine and cocktails.

A spokesperson for the Polis told What Now that the brothers are holding off on interviews until closer to opening.
