A new fast-casual restaurant is coming to Nashville.

Inspired by Thai food, Yaki House will be owned by Hector Chavez and his friend.

Chavez told What Now that the main item on the menu will be chicken.

A recently filed permit states the restaurant will be at 2422 Elliston Place. Currently, the location houses Tiff’s Treats Cookie Delivery.

While there will be dine-in options, Chavez expects that most of customers will choose to take-out.

“It’s going to be more for takeout,” he said. “There’s probably going to be just a couple chairs, like 12 chairs.”

Other restaurants in the area include Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint, Roma Pizza, and Frutta Bowls.

Yaki House is expected to open next year.
