According to a press release, Social Cantina will expand to Nashville next year in Germantown’s Starling luxury mixed-use development at 820 4th Ave N. The restaurant will join Retrograde Coffee as the latest tenants announced on the lineup.
This will become the Indianapolis-based business’ first Southeast location, set to open in spring 2024.
“With four other locations throughout Indiana, Social Cantina will bring its fresh and vibrant menu to Nashville and feature freshly prepared tacos, bowls, salads, sizzling fajitas and more. A collection of more than 150 bottles of tequila and mezcal will also be offered. The 5,500-square-foot space will feature a massive 100-seat patio overlooking the greenway and baseball stadium,” states the release.
Plans for Starling’s development include an expansion of the Cumberland River Greenway to directly connect pedestrians with the 17,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a first of its kind for the city. The first residential units will be delivered in January 2024, with the full project, including Social Cantina, opening in March 2024.
Its robust food menu offers multiple options for anyone to enjoy. “Choose one or all of our 12 tacos, including 2 vegetarian options, to satisfy any palate. Our Cantina Bowls invite you to get interactive or enjoy our Tortas made with freshly baked bread. Finish with our family recipe of scratch-made Tres Leches,” states the Social Cantina website.
“We were drawn to the energy of Germantown and vibrant culture that Nashville has to offer, making it the ideal city to expand Social Cantina,” said Social Cantina’s Vice President of Operations Chris Martin in the press release. “We look forward to planting our flag in the Music City and are excited to be slinging tacos and margaritas at Starling in time for the start of the 2024 baseball season.”
Until its Music City debut next year, customers can keep updated with all things Social Cantina on its website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.
