Full Proof Pizza, a New York Style, naturally leavened pizza concept, is opening a new location in Brentwood, located at 145 South Barrington Ave.

This is a massive accomplishment for the acclaimed and James-Beard recognized bakers Or Amsalam and Alex Phaneuf, who are behind the Los Angeles favorite Lodge Bread Co. The duo started the pizza chain from Culver City, located at 11918 Washington Blvd. Now, Phaneuf tells What Now Los Angeles the company is planning to open its second location in Beverly Hills at 371 South Doheny Drive in early July. A month later, in early-August, Full Proof Pizza hopes to open its third location in Brentwood, moving into the former home of Lemonade.

When these new locations open, guests can expect a simple yet delicious menu with something for everyone. The sole location offers over a dozen different pizza combinations, available as 12-inches or 18-inches. Some pizza combinations include wild potato & leek, prosciutto & shaved parm, and pesto & sausage. The original Culver City location also offers two salad options and several drinks.

“The idea behind Full Proof was first and foremost nostalgic — we thought of our favorite childhood memory, grabbing a slice with family at local pizza shops,” according to the company’s website. “Inspired by [our] bakery pizza nights in 2015, [our] love of pizza is not unlike anyone else’s. [We] are obsessed with the age-old, bakery-born classic and would love to share [our] style with the city.”
